Mercian classic road bike, 21 in, 53 cm, maroon - gold

This classic beauty was custom made for a generous donor in the mid to late 1970s.  It's been painstakingly tuned and updated for someone who wants to ride in style around town or longer rides in the country.  It features the original paint and decals. 

The saddle is a still-popular and sought after Avocet touring saddle. The other drive-train components are lovely and very high quality parts from the 80's as the photos show (Shimano 600/ SunTour Sprint).  The wheels are also very high quality with SunTour Sprint hubs.  Modern Tektro brake levers are for smaller hands and the matching Tektro dual-pivot brake calipers will stop you on a dime if necessary.

We've invested over $350 (retail value) in new parts and labor to make this bike awesome!
